The groundbreaking ceremony for Xueruyi Valley Amusement Park was held at Chongli Olympic Park, alongside the ongoing construction of the "Ruyi Waterfront" and a planned small ski jump, both of which will offer fresh experiences upon completion.
Xueruyi Valley Amusement Park is situated within Chongli Olympic Park, between the National Ski Jumping Center and the Biathlon Center, covering an area of 40,000 square meters. It will feature five main zones: non-mechanical attractions, mechanical amusement rides, a winter carnival, military-themed educational activities, and a pet-friendly area, catering to family outings, outdoor adventures, and year-round tourism. A centerpiece of the park is the "Valley Dream" Ferris Wheel, which stands 46 meters tall and offers panoramic views from 26 cabins. Visitors will enjoy sweeping vistas of the surrounding mountains and the famous "Snow Ruyi" ski jump. The park is expected to open on May 1, 2025.
The Ruyi Waterfront, currently under construction, is nestled between Taiqi Road and Phoenix Road in Chongli Olympic Park, occupying 70,000 square meters, with a water area of 27,600 square meters. This area is divided into four zones: aerial adventure rides, stargazing campsites, lakeside dining, and water-based entertainment. Highlights include thrilling attractions like high-altitude rafting, a step-by-step thrill walk, high-wire biking, zip lines, and a "lazy bungee" jump. Family-friendly features such as interactive boats, non-mechanical attractions, stargazing campsites, trendy lakeside dining, and paddleboard lessons round out this eco-friendly micro-vacation spot. The Ruyi Waterfront is also expected to open on May 1, 2025.
Additionally, a 100-meter-long, 10-meter-wide, 20.5-meter-high small ski jump is planned across from the Snow Ruyi Ski Village on the left side of the route leading to the ski gear hall. Designed for beginners and youth training, this jump will serve as an introduction to ski jumping techniques, alongside snow-play activities during the winter season. This facility aims to make ski jumping more accessible and fun, enhancing the appeal of winter sports.
